Terms of Service

1. General
By engaging Coby's Gardening & Landscaping ("we", "us", "our"), the client ("you", "your") agrees to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Services
We provide a range of gardening and landscaping services, including but not limited to garden maintenance, planting, pruning, lawn care, and hard landscaping. The scope of work will be discussed and agreed upon before commencement.

3. Estimates and Pricing

• Any estimates provided for services charged at an hourly rate are purely estimates and are subject to change. Actual time required may vary depending on site conditions, weather, or other unforeseen factors.
• You will be billed for the actual time spent on-site, rounded to the nearest 15-minute increment, at the agreed hourly rate.
• For fixed-price jobs, the total cost will be confirmed in writing prior to starting.

4. Variations
Any work requested that falls outside the original scope will be priced and agreed upon separately. We will not proceed with variations without your approval.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of the job, unless otherwise arranged in writing prior to the start of work.
• Invoices will be issued upon completion.
• Late payments may incur a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance per month.
• We reserve the right to suspend or withhold further services until payment is received.

6. Access
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the site, including access to water and power if required.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee to cover lost time and travel costs.

8. Liability

• While we take every care in our work, we accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss or damage.
• You are responsible for notifying us of any underground services (e.g., irrigation, cables) before work begins.

9. Health & Safety
We follow all relevant New Zealand health and safety regulations. Please inform us of any known hazards or concerns at the site before work starts.
